Glass plate level gauge
Glass plate level gauge is a direct reading instrument used to directly indicate the level height of various storage tanks and pressure vessels. The operator can judge the operating state of the container according to the reading of the on-site instrument to ensure the safe and stable operation of the device and reduce unnecessary losses. Widely used in petrochemical, electric power, pharmaceutical, paper and other industrial fields of liquid level measurement.
system composition and principle
The glass plate level gauge is composed of gauge body, gland, glass, sealing assembly, vapor-liquid valve and drain valve. The glass plate level gauge is divided into transmission type and reflection type. The front and back of the transmission type level gauge body are each provided with a piece of glass. The front and rear glands are tightened and sealed by bolts to display the liquid level through the light projection principle. The reflection type level gauge adopts a pressure-resistant U-shaped bolt to connect the gland, glass, sealing assembly and body to form a sealed structure.
Glass plate level gauge with monochrome and two-color indication form can be selected.
Transparent monochrome level gauge is through the flat glass can visually see the liquid level or interface, easy to observe the liquid level or boundary.
The transparent two-color level gauge adopts 90 ° tank glass, the gas phase is red, the liquid phase is green, and the liquid level boundary can be clearly observed.
The reflective monochrome level gauge adopts multi-stripe glass, the gas phase is white, and the liquid phase is black, so the liquid level boundary can be clearly observed.
The reflection type double color liquid level gauge adopts 90 ° groove type glass. According to the principle of optical reflection, the gas phase is red and the liquid phase is black, and the liquid level dividing line can be clearly observed.

Technical advantages
Glass plate level gauge is divided into two structures: blind area and no blind area. The visual range of glass plate level gauge with no blind area structure is the same as the center distance, which has the advantages of easy observation and large visual range, making the observation of liquid level more accurate.
The glass plate level gauge is equipped with a safety protection device in the vapor-liquid valve. When accidental leakage occurs, the protective steel ball will automatically seal the channel under the action of the internal pressure of the container to improve safety. In view of the relatively strong corrosive chemical medium display liquid level, our company adopts corrosion-resistant glass plate level gauge, and mica is added between the glass plate and the measured liquid. Mica has strong corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance, thus protecting the glass plate and ensuring the long-term, stable and reliable operation of the device.
When the working temperature is ≥ 200 ℃, the glass plate is made of aluminosilicate glass and lined with mica sheet. The aluminosilicate glass has good chemical stability, strong mechanical strength and low thermal expansion coefficient, and can be used in a high temperature environment of 550 ℃ to ensure safe and reliable operation of the device in a high temperature environment.

Anti-frost type
It is suitable for measuring the liquid level of -196 ℃ ~ 0 ℃. Cryogenic liquids are often frosted or frozen on the surface of the liquid level meter, which leads to the inability to watch the liquid level. Under this condition, a glass plate level gauge with anti-frost function can be used, that is, a propylene-based protection window is installed on the visual window, and the level gauge is equipped with thermal insulation material as a whole, so that the correct liquid level can be observed through the protection window.
Jacket type
Suitable for measuring the liquid level of high viscosity or low boiling point liquids. The heat tracing function is to install a jacket on the surface of the glass plate level gauge. For high viscosity and easy to solidify liquid, steam or high temperature liquid is introduced into the jacket to make the internal temperature of the level gauge consistent with the temperature in the measured device, so as to measure the accurate liquid level. For low boiling point easy boiling liquid, cooling water is introduced into the jacket to achieve the effect of stabilizing the liquid level, thus ensuring the accuracy of measuring the liquid level.
Thousand Bird Type
The windows of the glass plate level gauge are arranged in parallel and staggered with each other, so that the measurement range is completely visible without blind areas, and the situation that the liquid level cannot be accurately observed due to blind areas is avoided.
Wide diameter type
It is suitable for liquid with strong bubbles. It adopts tubular structure and has a large area of liquid cavity in the body, which can make the liquid level with large fluctuation more stable, avoid the measurement error caused by liquid level fluctuation, make the observation clearer and the measurement more accurate. It is suitable for liquid with large viscosity and the installation center distance is ≤ 6000mm.
