4 On August 28, a symposium for outstanding young representatives of Tieling's "five bases" construction was held. The event focused on deeply studying and implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's important statements on youth work, inheriting the spirit of May Fourth Movement, shouldering the mission of the times, and promoting the convergence of youthful dreams and Tieling's revitalization. Xu Di, general manager of Tieling Tieguang Instrument and Meter Co., Ltd., participated in the symposium as an outstanding young representative and gave a speech. 
Song Cheng, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, pointed out that ideals guide the direction of life, and beliefs determine the success or failure of a cause. The city's young people should persistently arm their minds with Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, establishing a spiritual monument in their hearts, and strengthening their foundation and political soul of listening to and following the Party. 
As a technical backbone and leader of Tieguang Company, Xu Di has led the enterprise in catching up and surpassing, and in innovative development. He has overcome professional technical challenges, led a group of young people in the company to carry out strategic planning for breakthroughs in major projects, and in terms of industry-university-research cooperation, formed an alliance with five scientific research units, including Northeastern University and Shenyang Aviation Institute Power Equipment Co., Ltd., to guide industrial development, promote technological innovation, implement the national strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education, promote scientific and technological innovation, and accelerate the economic development and social progress of the enterprise.
In combination with the construction tasks of Tieling's "five bases" proposed at the ninth meeting of the eighth session of the Municipal Party Committee, and focusing on building a collaborative base for advanced manufacturing in the Shenyang metropolitan area, the company will in the future set its main direction, refine its target tasks, and implement its work measures. It will accelerate technological innovation and research and development, continuously improve digital construction, continuously promote overseas markets, implement key projects in line with market orientation, and reduce costs and increase efficiency. It will continue to focus on the construction of the "five bases," using technological innovation to drive industrial innovation, and contribute to writing a new chapter of Chinese-style modernization in Tieling.
